Belgravia, C. London - Courtyard Garden.
To transform an outmoded, unloved garden, devoid of soul, but with plenty of character, into a haven of tranquillity. The garden is strongly dictated to in shape and layout by that of the main house, but offers three very distinct spaces, which require interlinking, while retaining their own quirky individual character.
Strong architecture plants and contemporary features will be cleverly coupled with more traditional elements, to ensure each aspect of the garden takes on its own unique personality, while retaining the integrity of the Georgian building it is inextricably linked to. Subtle references will also be made to the buildings’ bespoke 80’s interior, which was designed and implemented by the then owner, who among others; pioneered one of the first iconographic movements in contemporary Interior Design.
